Rooms and Reservations

Check-in at Gansevoort is at 3:00 PM. If you arrive early, we are happy to safely store your luggage until your room is available. If you anticipate an early arrival, we encourage you to book your reservation for the night before as we are unable to guarantee early check-in. Check-out is at 12:00 PM. If you wish to request a late check-out, please contact our Front Desk Opens in a new tab. team, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note, late checkout is based on availability.

The minimum age required to check-in is 21 years old.

Gansevoort’s standard cancellation policy is 48-hours prior to your arrival. Advance purchase reservations with our ‘Reserve Now, Save Later’ offer are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

Yes, we love pets! We welcome you to bring your dog(s) or cat(s) who are fully trained. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $100 USD per pet, per stay. We require a completed waiver form upon check-in. We offer complimentary pet amenities including food and water bowls and a potty pad, plus a toy. We strive to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in our guest rooms, offering daily housekeeping services. Your bed linens will be changed every second day of your stay (or upon request). Towels hung up will be reused. Towels left on the floor will be replaced.

Yes, all rooms are equipped with a minibar. Our minibar includes non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, snacks, and other essentials.

We require a mandatory facility fee of $35 (inclusive of tax) per night. This includes property-wide premium high-speed WiFi, domestic calls, unlimited digital access to the New York Times, access to the fitness center, heated rooftop pool, two bottles of water upon arrival, and package-handling for up to five parcels before and during your stay.

At Gansevoort, we aim to make traveling with your child more comfortable. We can provide complimentary cribs, a pack and play, toddler umbrella stroller, and baby bath amenities upon request.

The rates quoted are based on single or double occupancy. Children 12 years of age and under stay free with an adult. Additional person fee is $100 USD, plus applicable state and local taxes (per person, per night) based on maximum room occupancy.

While we do not offer cots or rollaway beds, select guest room categories are equipped with a pull-out sofa bed. If your reserved room has this included, we are happy to prepare it for an additional fee of $100 per night. Coffee + Cocktails 
Inspired by the cafés of Paris and Italy, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Coffee + Cocktails, with indoor dining or al fresco seating set on the historic cobblestones of the Meatpacking District. Adjacent to the lobby, savor a wide range of coffee, cocktails, and an all-day menu featuring European-inspired dishes. Stop by for happy hour, from 4-7pm, daily.

Le Coin 
Nestled within the heart of the Meatpacking District is the new culinary gem, Le Coin, on the corner of 13th Street and 9th Avenue. Le Coin introduces innovative dishes inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Paris and coastal France. With indoor and al fresco seating, the restaurant effortlessly blends the bustling energy of New York City in a timeless, charming space adorned with vintage decor and original artwork curated by Paris Chong, Gallery Director of Leica Gallery LA.

A tranquil escape for hotel guests and locals, take in the 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline and Hudson River while enjoying innovative, refreshing cocktails paired with refined bites.

Saishin
At Saishin, savor an artful 14- or 19-course Omakase tasting at the interactive chef’s counter, where each luxurious bite is prepared in front of the guest with intention, precision, and fresh seasonal ingredients. For guests who prefer to curate their own experience, a seasonal, dynamic menu of á la carte otsumami, hot entrees, and sushi is available to enjoy at dining tables. 

Hours are subject to change by season. Omakase seatings are booked at the chef’s counter, while a la carte offerings are available at tables; skyline views are visible from both sections. In warmer months, Saishin offers open-air seating. Due to the unique nature of this dining experience, reservations are strongly encouraged.

Yes. Please refer to the In-Room Dining compendium in each room for the menu. In-Room Dining orders can be placed between 7AM to 10PM.

 

Amenities

Yes. Take a dip in our heated, outdoor pool, and lounge in the sun with poolside food and beverage service, as you savor panoramic downtown views, where skyscrapers meet the Hudson. This urban oasis is open year-round, exclusively for hotel guests and Seven24 Collective members only. Our rooftop pool is heated to approximately 84°F (~29°C) but temperature may vary slightly depending on the weather. Guests under the age of 18 are invited to swim from 7AM until 12PM. After 12PM, the pool is open to guests and members 18+ only. For current hours of operation, please contact Guest Services.

Yes. Located on the lower level, our 24-hour fitness center features all the modern workout must-haves, including Peloton bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, a rowing machine, free weights, and more. Find your zen in our detoxifying sauna, located in the gym. For your convenience, there are five private bathrooms located in the fitness center locker room, each equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, and hair dryer to freshen up after your workout.

 

Transportation

Yes. Valet service is available from 7AM-12AM daily. Rates are $95 for regular sized vehicles and $105 for oversized vehicles, per every 24-hour period, without in or out privileges. 

Please note: If the vehicle is removed before the 24-hour period, an additional fee will be applied for re-entry. 

Self-parking is also available nearby at Icon Parking Garage.

There are three airports near the Gansevoort Hotel: Newark Liberty International Airport (~14 miles), LaGuardia Airport (~14 miles), John F. Kennedy International Airport (~18 miles).

The closest subway station to the Gansevoort Hotel is the 15th Street / 8th Avenue Station. This station is served by the A, C, E and L subway lines, and is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. The 14th Street / 7th Avenue Station is also about an 8–10 minute walk and is served by the 1, 2, or 3 lines.

We offer amenities designed to make your stay enjoyable for guests of all ages, including spacious rooms, kid-friendly pool hours (7AM until 12PM), and infant and toddler necessities. Yes, we are happy to keep your bags safe and secure in a private storage area before your check-in and until you depart from the hotel.

We offer dry-cleaning services. Simply place your garments in the dry-cleaning bag located within the closet and fill out the dry-cleaning request slip. Once you are ready for your item to be picked up from your room, dial ‘Housekeeping’ on your guestroom phone to confirm your dry-cleaning request.

We do not have a spa on property, however, as a valued hotel guest, you can enjoy 20% off spa services during the duration of your stay, right across the street at Maison Sisley Spa (located at the corner of Hudson Street and Gansevoort). Facial treatments, make up, and hair services are available. Please dial 0 on your room phone, and Guest Services will help book your appointment. We also have an infrared sauna located in the fitness center.

All of our guest rooms, and public areas, including (but not limited to) lobby, restaurants, pool deck, and balconies are non-smoking (including the use of vapes or e-cigarettes). Guests are subject to a smoking fee of $750-$1,250 USD (per day and based on room category) for smoking in the hotel.
