Adi Oren is a Native New York artist that creates paintings celebrating the exuberance of life. Through movement, gesture, and dance, she explores the concept of freedom. Oren often uses vintage imagery in her work to transport the viewer to another era. Her current paintings showcase divers soaring through open spaces of color and texture, a metaphor for human’s ancient obsession with flight. Notions of mystery, curiosity and risk are matched with feelings of serenity, bravery and courage.
