Private Members Club Seven24 Collective Debuts in New York
Michael Achenbaum and Sean Largotta have debuted the first location of private members club, Seven24 Collective, at the Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC hotel in Manhattan. Fashion and interior design Victor Alfaro led the design of the space.
Seven24 Collective’s sophisticated members-only workspace, the study, is the focal point of the club’s programming, which seamlessly transitions into a dynamic bar and lounge at night. Here, red lacquered wood paneling and chevron hardwood floors are paired with an elegant Murano glass chandelier and sconces.
Meanwhile, the café evokes a cozy beachside café with light hues and splashes of color. Behind dramatic Brazilian Ipe doors are marble mosaic floors, teal striped banquettes, and surfside inspired art.
The club features a 1970s-inspired cocktail lounge, Dimes, that transports guests to a bygone era. A striking bar anchors the space with a reflective gold tile front, an amber onyx underlit countertop, and a brass infused poured-in-place gold terrazzo floor.
“When Sean and Michael came to me with the idea to collaborate, I was inspired to design not only the spaces, but to envision a member’s experience from early in the morning until late at night,” says Alfaro. “The goal has been to engage a member both visually and experientially, feeling that they have flowed through a classic New York day without ever leaving the building,”
Seven24 Collective plans to open a countryside retreat in New York’s Hudson Valley, as well as other locations across the U.S. and Europe.
